Responsibilities

THE ROLE

The Business Systems and Process Analyst is one of the key drivers of our continued growth and success. With their commitment to innovation, the analyst seeks, develops, implements and helps to manage strategic processes for improved efficiency and productivity. AMS is currently searching for an experienced analyst to help guide our organization toward its new strategic vision. From researching progressive systems solutions to evaluating their impacts, the ideal candidate will be a detailed planner, expert communicator, and accomplished analyst. This person should be prepared to balance the discovery and development of innovative solutions with the tactical execution of programs and services supporting AMS’s global community.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Project Management
  • Create and implement precise project plans, with attention to transparent communication at all levels of the department
  • Author and update internal and external documentation, and formally initiate and deliver documentation (Office of Accreditation processes, MACTE information and communication, Commission actions, etc.)
  • Manage and maintain key program data across functions, with an emphasis on progress toward performance goals, AMS dashboard, required updates and reports, AMS customer accounts, & commission actions

Process Design

  • Drive awareness of needs across functions and identify substandard processes through evaluation of real-time data
  • Serve as thought leader for workflow processes, developing systems prototypes that promote increased efficiency and productivity at multiple levels
  • Partner with stakeholders across Office of Accreditation functions (school accreditation, teacher education, credentialing, commissions) to develop processes and documentation in a collaborative way, communicating effectively and efficiently through phases of development (ideation, production, implementation, and management)
  • Conduct regular process and systems quality assurance to maximize effectiveness and troubleshoot problems

Process Ownership & Execution

  • Facilitate processes and workflows that support customer and member success
  • Evaluate, analyze, and communicate systems requirements on a continuing basis, and maintain systems processes, including the delivery of regular status reports to all appropriate parties
  • Develop meaningful and lasting relationships with partners for optimized systems integration, and respond to questions and concerns from customers and colleagues, while providing supportive guidance
  • Other duties, as assigned, including support of the annual Montessori Event
