What you will do: The Part-Time Seasonal Program Services Attendant is responsible for preparing, supporting, and maintaining the surfaces and spaces used to operate Wheelhouse driving programs. This would be full-day (8-hour) shifts, approximately 2-3 days per week. Approximately 15-25 hours per week. This role plays a critical role in the success of our operations by ensuring all logistical elements are planned, executed, and supported to the highest standard. They will champion the company’s mission and vision while modeling the company’s values. Specific Accountabilities and Responsibilities: Perform operational setup/breakdown of surfaces and spaces as needed for driving program execution: cones, hospitality, and signage/branding elements Assist in maintaining inventory of all operational setup equipment, supplies, and resources Perform various program services support functions—driving activity course assistance, demo lap belting, student equipment handling, snack and beverage restocking, etc. Assist in the maintenance of detailed and accurate setup guides—lists, diagrams, graphics, etc. Assist in the maintenance of all course and setup markings for visibility (monthly or bimonthly). Assist with off-site errands and various transportation needs Assist other team members as required in retail operations, customer service and asset management Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of the Company and its programs Protect the moral, legal, and financial well-being of the company. Continually work with other team members to find new and better ways of doing business with an emphasis on safety, accountability, leadership, and guest service Perform other job duties as assigned. Requirements Knowledge and Skills You Possess: Ability to prioritize tasks in the most productive and/or appropriate manner Outstanding ability to interact well with employees, contractors, and guests Strong verbal communication skills Demonstrate outstanding hospitality/guest service Ability to make quick, sound decisions based on facts, possessing creative thinking skills Experience with retail point of sale system preferred Experience in a motorsports and/or driving environment preferred Must be able to drive a manual transmission Expectations: Adhere to an event-driven work schedule—with some evenings, weekends, and holidays required Show respect for others and maintain a positive attitude Maintain a current valid driver’s license, clean driving record, pass a background check and drug screening Physical Demands: Often required to work long hours when needed, or as business requires (including holidays, nights, and weekends) Active, mobile workflow that requires frequent physical activity and routine work in varying weather conditions. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds Moderate to high levels of stress may be associated with this position Language Skills: Must be able to communicate in English
