The Watts College of Public Service and Community Solutions seeks a Piper Servant Leader Network Program Specialist to support local service initiatives through the delivery of a scholarship-based community service program designed to increase nonprofit capacity in Maricopa County and beyond. Under the administrative direction of the Director of Strategic Projects and Initiatives, this role will coordinate and execute essential elements of the program’s delivery, including student support, partner engagement, event coordination, and operational logistics.
This pilot program is locally funded for two years and will conclude in December 2026 unless extended by the funder. The role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in experiential learning, civic engagement, and service-learning in a university setting.
PROGRAM DELIVERY & STUDENT EXPERIENCE
· Support the delivery of a three-phase scholarship program, ensuring students receive timely communication, guidance, and support throughout their participation.
· Coordinate recruitment and onboarding efforts for undergraduate students across ASU interested in participating in the service program.
· Maintain program calendars and schedule advising, training, and reflection events for participants.
· Collect and organize evaluation data, student reflections, and required documentation for reporting.
· Support event logistics, including planning, vendor coordination, catering, material preparation, and set-up.
