JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a Program Specialist to plan, coordinate and participate in the establishment and operation of specialized programs or projects related to clinic schedules, scheduling workflows, and access to care. Develop, coordinate and advise on policies related to specified activities that will help ensure scheduling accuracy and optimization of scheduling workflows.

JOB ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or equivalent education required.
  • Three years experience of in clerical or general office support are required.
  • Maestro Care - Epic experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Data entry experience.
  • Skilled in working with spreadsheets, Word, databases and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Medical terminology knowledge.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize.
  • Strong customer service background and experience.
  • Ability create and apply specific departmental policies, rules and regulations relating to verifying patient information, and maintaining records and forms.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Administrative Coordinator in completing special tasks and projects related to patient access as needed.
  • Oversee and manage the processes related to panel management, ensuring efficient assignment and distribution of patients.
  • Plan, coordinate and administer activities of assigned programs to include developing, implementing, and supervising related procedures, processes, services and systems.
  • Train employees in proper methods and procedures and ensure correctness of work.
  • Review schedules for inaccuracies, correcting any errors.
  • Ensure Qgenda scheduling system remains accurate and up-to-date with provider availability and patient appointments.
