DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong familiarity and understanding of Jewish customs and traditions.
  • Strong familiarity and understanding of working with older adults.
  • High school Diploma required; College Degree preferred.
  • At least 2-4 years working in an administrative/programming role.
  • Technological proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Canva, PowerPoint, and Zoom. Ability to quickly adapt to new software and digital tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Outstanding organizational skills, with a knack for managing diverse and confidential tasks efficiently.
  • A proactive and collaborative mindset, with a proven track record of working effectively in a team setting.
  • A commitment to the mission of JFS to provide high-quality services to those in need.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in responding to evolving program requirements and participant needs, with a readiness to adjust strategies and approaches as necessary.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, insurance, and access to a reliable personal vehicle for traveling off-site for program-related activities.
  • Availability for evening, weekend, and holiday programs as necessary.
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. as well as stand, sit, reach, stretch for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities
  • Engage directly with older adults in a variety of retirement communities fostering meaningful interactions and relationships.
  • Work closely with the Senior Program Manager to support, promote, and implement events that enhance the wellbeing of older adults.
  • Help with the preparation of materials and resources for various programs and services.
  • Provide support across different K’vod Connect programs and locations, ensuring smooth operation and high-quality experiences for participants, adapting to changing needs and priorities.
  • Ability to be flexible in work schedule. Including working occasional weekends, holidays and evenings as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as required, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to the goals of K’vod Connect.
