Description

Gardner Health Services is currently recruiting to fill a Program Supervisor position. This is a full-time position in the Adult/Older Adult Division of the Behavioral Health Department based out of the Gardner Health Services Corporate Office located at 160 E Virginia Street, San Jose, CA 95112. Under supervision, the Program Supervisor oversees clinical staff and the programmatic development of Gardner Health Service’s Adult/Older Adult Continuum of Care program. The Adult/Older Adult program us a person-driven and interdisciplinary approach to coordinated care to address optimal mental health functioning by considering stressors, physical health issues and substance abuse. The Program Supervisor is responsible for providing assessments, crisis intervention, and the overall clinical supervision of the counseling staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare and mental health services as well as ability to supervise and lead clinical staff.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

The minimum qualifications of this position is listed below. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

  • Master’s Degree in Behavioral Science (Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work).
  • State of CA LCSW or LMFT License preferred; must obtain a license within two years of hire/promotion with a signed contingency agreement.
  • Valid CA Driver’s License and proof of insurance.
  • Minimum two (2) years of related work experience working with dually diagnosis clients.
  • Ability to supervise and provide consultation with difficult clients.
  • Bilingual/Bicultural preferred.
