The Crisis Program Supervisor plays a pivotal role in overseeing residential and community-based services for individuals in crisis. This position provides leadership to direct care teams, ensures compliance with support plans, and upholds quality assurance standards. The role also requires collaboration with families, guardians, administrative staff, and agencies like the Department of Mental Health (DMH). You will ensure person-centered support that promotes independence, safety, and overall well-being. You will: Supervise and coach Crisis Support Staff, including hiring, training, performance reviews, and disciplinary action Ensure the delivery of individualized services per DMH and CARF standards Develop, implement, and monitor Individual Support Plans and crisis safety plans Participate in and oversee interdisciplinary team processes Ensure quality documentation, health and safety compliance, and environmental standards Communicate regularly with families, guardians, and external partners Support billing accuracy and compliance with budget authorization Participate in on-call rotation and provide direct support as needed What do I need to be qualified for this position? Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in human services or a related field Required (with degree): 6 years of directly related professional experience, including 2 years in management Required (without degree): 5 years of relevant experience, including 2 years in management Must qualify as a Degreed Professional Manager (per Missouri DMH-DD waiver guidelines) Strong knowledge of behavior support, autism, and community-based service delivery Valid driver’s license and access to an insured vehicle (MO Class E license required upon hire) Please see the full job description for a complete list of duties and requirements.
