This entry-level supervisory role is ideal for candidates with at least two years of experience in the IDD field. The position centers on hands-on direct care while offering exposure to light supervisory duties as you grow in the role. Conducting orientation, ongoing training and supervision of 7 Direct Support Professionals Staff scheduling Coordination of medical appointments for individuals supported in the program Monitoring inventory of the home’s groceries, medical and household supplies and purchasing supplies regularly Tracking and documentation of receipts and expenditures Ensuring compliance and accuracy of daily documentation Ensuring routine vehicle maintenance is performed on company vehicles Regular communication with nursing staff on medication needs within home Provide occasional transportation to individuals supported in the home, local travel Ensuring all aspects of the program are developed, implemented, coordinated, and monitored to the highest degree possible. Qualifications What Makes You a Great Fit: Minimum 18 years of age. 1-2 years of previous supervisory experience, preferably in the Human Services field. High school diploma/GED equivalent required, a two-year degree related to Human Services preferred. 1 or more years of experience working in the field of developmental disabilities To qualify candidates must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance Candidates must be flexible to provide on-call support outside of regular business hours Proficiency with computers specifically MS 365 and MS Office and able to quickly learn and adapt to changing technology Person-centered, patient, and kind Dependable, adaptable, flexible Observant and detail oriented Positive role-model for others and able to work on a team Committed to creating a respectful and collaborative environment Must be reliable, flexible and possess good decision-making and communication skills Additional Information We believe in supporting not only those we serve but also each other, ensuring a collaborative and supportive work environment for all.
