JOB POSTING Men’s Services Department NIGHT LINK (WINTER RESPONSE) Program Supervisor FULL-TIME, CONTRACT  CONTRACT LENGTH: 4 MONTHS (DECEMBER 2025- MARCH 2026) 1 Position WAGE- $27.16 PER HOUR  Posting #MS0613     POSITION SUMMARY:   Mission Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Program Supervisor to support the daily operations of our Night Link Winter Response Program- which provides coordinated access services and support to individuals experiencing homelessness. This role ensures the smooth functioning of the program while promoting a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for both clients and staff. Under the direction of the Manager of Early Intervention, the Program Supervisor will oversee operational activities, provide on-the-floor support, ensure adherence to organizational policies, and help coordinate access to vital community resources.   KEY RESPONSIBILITES: * Support the Manager of Early Intervention in overseeing the day-to-day operation of Night Link in accordance with organizational policies, procedures, and service standards. * Ensure all administrative processes are completed accurately and timely, including incident reports, taxi logs, bus ticket tracking, and supply inventory management. * Assist in the management of staff scheduling to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts. * Serve as the primary on-call contact during assigned periods to provide support for staff in urgent or emergency situations, including offering guidance for crisis management, addressing unexpected absences. * Maintain accurate and confidential client records; ensure all documentation meets quality assurance standards. Provide direct, on-the-floor support to clients, assisting staff in delivering client-centered and trauma-informed services. * Support staff in responding to crises, including de-escalation and coordination with emergency services (police, fire, EMS) as needed. * Facilitate connections to community resources, services, and supports, including healthcare, housing, harm reduction, and mental health services. * Uphold a welcoming, respectful, and non-judgmental environment for individuals with diverse needs and backgrounds. * Provide leadership and guidance to front-line staff; act as the primary support during program hours in the absence of the Manager. * Monitor staff attendance, conduct, and performance; provide feedback as needed and escalate concerns to the Program Manager as appropriate. * Foster a collaborative, respectful team culture that prioritizes the well-being and safety of clients and staff. * Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., security, facilities, women’s services) to ensure seamless service delivery. * Ensure the site is safe and operational, maintaining sufficient inventory of supplies such as harm reduction materials, food, and clothing donations. * Promote and model safe work practices in accordance with Mission Services’ health and safety policies; identify and report hazards and incidents to management.   QUALIFICATIONS: * Minimum post-secondary diploma or degree in the human or social services sector, or equivalent experience * Preference for one to two (1-2) years of related experience in a management role; a combination of education and experience may be considered  * Experience supporting marginalized populations and individuals experiencing homelessness * Demonstrated understanding of issues relevant to a housing focused services including knowledge of social assistance and other community resources * Ability to enhance the program and build professional relationships with staff and other community agencies * Confident decision maker with excellent organizational, supervisory and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure and in crisis situations. * Ability to work as part of a team and act as a motivator for staff * Proficiency in typing, Microsoft, Excel, Excellent general computer skills. * Committed to upholding the organization’s mission, values and standards HOURS OF WORK: * 37.5 hours per week * Evenings 3:30 PM- 11:30 PM * Able to participate in part of an on-call rotation  REQUIREMENTS: * Police Vulnerable Sector Check * Two-Step Tuberculosis Skin Test   COMPENSATION: * Hourly wage starts at $27.16 per hour Evenings 3:30 PM- 11:30 PM 37.5 hours per week
