* Assist with the operations and system support of the short course program * Provide program related administrative support * Full Time, Ongoing role based in Hobart, Launceston or Burnie  About the opportunity Short Courses (within Recruitment, Engagement & Marketing) is looking for a Program Support Officer. The University’s Short Course Unit is responsible for stewarding the University’s Short Course systems and driving continuous improvements in service delivery and learner experience for non-award programs.  The Program is Institutional and is the single shopfront and service arm for the University's short course and micro-credential offerings. As our new Program Support Officer, you will provide system administration, operational, program and project support, under the direction of the Manager, Short Courses. Through these functions, you will support the implementation of short courses, monitor program performance, and contribute to quality assurance by analysing data and supporting program reporting. In this role you will have the opportunity to work in a very dynamic and exciting area in educational design, development and delivery.  As an institutional program, you will have the opportunity to engage with a broad range of stakeholders and work collaboratively within the University to build capability in the Program’s systems and reporting space. What you’ll do: * Support the operations and system needs of the short course program, working with Academic Units and service areas to ensure effective course delivery. * Source and analyse routine program data, preparing reports that support program quality and outcomes. * Work with institutional data and analytics teams on more complex data requests, providing context, insights, and support for clear presentation of findings. * Build and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication about program activities and outcomes. * Contribute to reviewing and improving processes that support the University’s short course program and its ongoing growth.  What we’re looking for: * Certificate-level qualification in a relevant field, plus related experience, or an equivalent mix of experience, education, and training. * Strong administrative skills, with accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. * Confidence working with data, including interpreting reports or dashboards, and an interest in building analytical skills. * Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate well and build effective working relationships. * Excellent organisation and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines. * Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interpret information and prepare reports. Salary details Appointment to this role will be at HEO 5 and will have a total remuneration package of up to $105,665 comprising base salary within the range of $80,869 to $90,312 plus 17% superannuation.
