Overview About the Role The primary purpose of the Program Support Specialist is to provide a wide variety of administrative and organizational support for the Admitting Services Department, the Financial Counseling Department and the Revenue Cycle Training Manager. Maintains and ensures efficiency of office services. Coordinates office operations and serves as a liaison with various units and administrative offices throughout University Hospital. Responsibilities What You’ll Do Provides comprehensive administrative and organizational support to: Admitting Services Department Financial Counseling Department Revenue Cycle Training Manager Maintains effective and efficient office operations. Coordinates daily office activities to ensure smooth workflow. Acts as a liaison between the department and various units as well as administrative offices throughout University Hospital. Qualifications What You’ll Bring Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related field required. Three (3) years of administrative experience required. Additional related experience may be substituted for the degree on a year‑for‑year basis. Preferred experience in the financial area. Preferred experience in a hospital setting, with knowledge of hospital and physician billing. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Must be detail‑oriented. Must be able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. University Hospital considers multiple factors when determining compensation, including (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s relevant work experience, education and training, key skills, internal equity, market data, and organizational needs.The expected salary range for this position is in accordance with the New Jersey Pay Transparency Law; final compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
