Description
The Program Technician plays a vital role in supporting our projects by serving as a central point of contact for project logistics. They ensure materials, resources, and information flow efficiently between departments, consultants, and stakeholders while maintaining overall project efficiency. This position is essential in preventing delays and keeping projects on track. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Assist with project startups, closeouts, billing, and invoicing in collaboration with the Program Specialist and Project Coordinator. * Monitor and coordinate with consultants to meet project deadlines and deliverables. * Prepare reports, including monthly reporting, weekly status updates, and meeting materials. * Track and log compliance criteria and ensure necessary certifications and monitoring are up to date. * Conduct site visits and inspections as required. * Maintain accurate records, manage documentation, and assist with contracting requirements. * Serve as a key point of contact for communication between departments, consultants, and stakeholders. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: * Education: An Associate’s degree or higher in business administration, public administration, or a related field is preferred. * Experience: At least 1-2 years of professional experience in project coordination, administrative support, or a related role. Experience in engineering, construction, or consulting industries is a plus. SKILLS & COMPETENCIES: * Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities. * Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills. * Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset. * High attention to detail and commitment to follow-through. * Adaptability to changing priorities and tight deadlines. COMPENSATION: Salary is commensurate with education and experience.
