OVERVIEW OF THE JOB

Programmatic is one of the fastest-growing areas of our business, and we’re looking for a skilled and ambitious Programmatic Lead to help drive its next phase of growth.
In this role, you’ll lead a team of programmatic specialists to deliver and grow programmatic revenue across DAX Audio and DAX Outdoor. This is a hybrid sales and trading role, combining proactive revenue generation with end-to-end campaign delivery—from pitch and planning through to set-up, optimisation and reporting.
You’ll bring a deep understanding of the programmatic ecosystem, including DSPs, SSPs and ad servers, and strong relationships with media agencies and trading desks. Working closely with commercial, operations and tech teams, you’ll play a critical role in scaling programmatic trading through the DAX platform.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE

  • Manage a small team of programmatic specialists, setting clear priorities and supporting delivery across agency patches.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with agency stakeholders, including planners, programmatic leads and trading desks, ensuring DAX is front of mind for briefs, new business and innovation.
  • Support the Programmatic Sales Director in delivering the overall programmatic strategy and revenue targets.
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of programmatic campaigns for your agency patch, including deal setup, performance monitoring, optimisation and reporting.
  • Manage and forecast revenue and pipeline across your patch, ensuring accuracy and contributing to broader commercial targets.
  • Lead external meetings within your agency patch, supporting education and upskilling to enable seamless and effective campaign delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with business development, trading, ops, sales and product teams to ensure joined-up execution and avoid duplication.
  • Share insights, performance updates and platform developments with internal teams to enhance programmatic understanding and confidence across the business.
  • Create and contribute to high-quality case studies, brief responses and training materials that elevate DAX’s programmatic proposition.
  • Provide feedback to product and tech teams to support ongoing platform development and ensure delivery aligns with market needs.
  • Represent DAX at industry events and forums to increase visibility and stay ahead of programmatic trends.
