The School of Nursing and Midwifery (SNAM) within the Faculty of Health delivers training across three sites in Plymouth, Exeter and Truro. The School is currently seeking to appoint a proactive and enthusiastic Programme Administrator to provide cross site administrative support in a busy and ever changing environement. The post will be based at InFocus, a short distance from the centre of Exeter at the Exeter School of Nursing, although travel to other sites may be required.

Responsibilities

ROLE SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the Senior Programme Co-ordinators and as a member of the team, you will contribute to the provision of a customer focused, integrated delivery of cost effective and efficient programme and practice placement administrative support service.

TASKS WILL INCLUDE:

  • Direct contact with students, academic colleagues and stakeholders and responding to their queries.
  • Maintaining student record systems through data input, monitoring, analysis and reporting using a variety of IT packages for designated programmes.
  • Attendance and minute taking at Committee meetings, Subject Assessment Panels and Award Assessment Boards.
  • Tasks also include student attendance monitoring, updating and formatting programme assessments and documentation, as well as providing support to the Senior Programme Co-ordinators and other members of the Programme Administration team.

THIS ROLE WILL REQUIRE AN ENHANCED DISCLOSURE AND BARRING SERVICE CHECK PLUS A CHILDREN’S BARRED LIST AND ADULTS BARRED LIST CHECK.
