Part-time fixed-term opportunity for 12 months   He angitūtanga: The opportunity   We are recruiting for a Programme Advisor to join our team on a part-time fixed term (24 hours per week) for 12 months. In this role, you will support the Programme Manager, work closely with team members, and provide information to the Finance Business Partner. You will play an important part in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of financial functions, including the monthly finance cycle, monitoring, and reporting. This role is key to helping managers and teams track and understand their budgets and expenditure, while maintaining high standards of accuracy and consistency.   Key Responsibilities:   Coordinate monthly finance meetings assisting with reporting on funding utilisation, supporting budget management capability across the team, and managing the action register. Support operational finance delivery, including the unit’s monthly financial management cycle. Develop documentation to help leads manage their programme budgets effectively. To find out more about The Southern Initiative, click this link: https://www.tsi.nz/   He kōrero mōu: About you   To excel in this role, you will need to be savvy in in budget management, procurement, and risk management, with experience monitoring and advising on budgets, navigating contracts and ensuring compliance with financial and organisational policies.   You will also bring:   Solid experience in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. Proficiency in financial systems, advanced Excel skills and SAP.
