Facilitate the work of senior staff to effectively position WFP with public, private and external partners to attract policy support, resources, technical assistance and innovative solutions to advance the work of WFP, while supporting member states in the achievement of the SDGs and Zero Hunger and emphasizing WFP’s contributions in this regard. Under the supervision of the Partnerships Officer the incumbent will be responsible for: Work with the Country Office/Regional Bureau/ HQ technical units to provide dedicated executive assistant support to the Partnerships unit members to achieve the Partnerships Action Plan. Prepare and/or consolidate comprehensive donor partners data, reports, documentation, correspondence, briefing notes, etc. and conduct research in the area of work. Oversee the collection, maintenance of records and databases to ensure information is organized and readily available for staff and compliant with all relevant regulations and policies. Analyzed data and well-research ideas are proposed to the Head of Partnerships and the team members for new action plans and strategies to maintain and increase funding from new and traditional donors. Assist in drafting accurate technical and narrative reports using internal and external data to timely meet donors` reporting requirements. Assist in drafting funding proposals, fact sheets, briefings, presentations, field visits etc. to solicit resource mobilization from existing and potential donor partners. Coordinate tasks of junior colleagues to ensure support services are delivered consistently and to the required standards, if needed. Other as required. To join us in saving lives, changing lives, you will have: Education: Completion of secondary school education. A post-secondary certificate in Political Science, International Development, Business Administration, Development Economics, International Relations, Law, Marketing, and Communications or other relevant fields. Experience: Six or more years of progressively responsible work experience in the relative business stream with experience in general administrative work, partnerships, donor relations, or program support. Knowledge & Skills: Mandatory: Specialized knowledge of the application of common business processes, practical business support methods, procedures and systems used in area of work, gained through technical training and work experience. Good communication skills to provide business support services to a wide range of individuals. Ability to analyze and interpret financial data and monitor budgets. Proficiency in MS Office Suite. Ability to proactively identify and recommend areas for improvement to the design and delivery of specialized services. Desirable: Experience in working with NGOs, government agencies, or international organizations is an asset. Strong organizational and coordination skills. Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks. Problem-solving and proactive attitude. LANGUAGES: Fluency (level C) in English and Arabic languages.
