This team plays a critical role in shaping strategic delivery outcomes across a transformative portfolio. As part of the Project Controls leadership team, you’ll be at the forefront of driving excellence in programme assurance, change control and capability uplift. We’re looking for a dynamic and experienced Programme Change Control Lead to take ownership of the change control function across a multi-programme environment. This is a leadership role with real influence, offering the opportunity to shape how change is managed across major programmes of work. In this role, you will: Lead and manage the end-to-end change control process across the programme, including tracking, reporting and analysis of variations and emerging trends. Provide strategic insights to the client by identifying key risks, opportunities and impacts arising from change activity. Coordinate integrated baseline management exercises throughout the programme lifecycle. Build and lead a high-performing team to assess all programme change/variation requests, ensuring timely and robust impact assessments across cost, schedule and risk. Develop internal capability through training, coaching and recruitment of subject matter experts. Collaborate closely with Project Directors, Sponsors, Commercial and Finance teams to ensure alignment and transparency. Support the delivery of programme controls maturity and efficiency improvements. Qualifications We’re seeking a confident leader with deep expertise in project controls and change management, ideally within complex capital projects or major programmes. You’ll bring: Already hold Baseline clearance or the ability to achieve it (Australian Citizen). Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence across PMO and delivery teams. Comprehensive understanding of change control, cost planning, scheduling and risk management principles. Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver integrated outcomes. Familiarity with project control systems such as Contruent (formerly Prism) is highly desirable. A relevant degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Project Management or similar. Professional qualifications such as APM PMQ, PPQ, CHPPM or equivalent. Experience with P3M frameworks and IT solutions for programme controls. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to present complex issues clearly to senior stakeholders.
