Look for candidates with:
· 15+ years in QA, with 8+ years in leadership (Programme Manager/Director level).
· Multi-domain exposure (retail, finance, digital, data not particularly any but multi domain knowledge is highly beneficial).
· Senior Stakeholder Management
o Experience presenting to C-level/executive stakeholders (e.g., CTO, Product Heads).
o Evidence of escalation management and cross-functional alignment (DevOps, Product, Business).
o Strong communication & negotiation skills (e.g., vendor SLA management, conflict resolution).
· Budgeting & Financial Acumen
o Managed QA budgets ($1M+) with cost optimization (e.g., tool licensing, vendor contracts).
o Experience in forecasting QA costs (onshore/offshore models, cloud testing expenses).
o ROI-driven decisions (e.g., automation savings, defect reduction impact).
· Technical QA Leadership
o Hands-on automation expertise (Selenium, Cypress, RestAssured, Appium).
o CI/CD implementation (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI).
o Cloud testing (AWS/Azure/GCP).
o Shift-Left & DevOps QA (BDD, TDD, API testing).
