Job Description
The Programme Director is responsible for delivering projects relating to the integration of new and existing transport networks as part of the wider programme. The role holder is expected to be a high calibre individual who is an ambassador for their programme, driving relationships, performance and morale within their team and with external stakeholders.
The Programme Director will be responsible for the end to end management of all aspects of programme delivery, thriving on providing leadership and direction in a fast-paced and collaborative team environment. They will ensure the delivery of their specific programme in achieving the forecast outcomes and ensuring their optimisation across the programme.
The role holder will be forward looking, identifying and managing risks, developing key stakeholder relationships, and establishing robust and agile governance across the programme delivery team. Safety has to be to be at the heart of everything and the Programme Director will be responsible for ensuring health & safety compliance throughout the delivery of the programme.

Qualifications
The role holder will be a recognised expert in their field with a vast experience and skillset drawn from construction, infrastructure, buildings, logistics, project and programme leadership and management. They will have a proven ability to manage and lead a large-scale, high value programme of works. Preferably they will possess a track record on a programme of a similar size (up to €500m) and complexity within rail, highways, and / or aviation.
The programmes involve managing multi-faceted stakeholders (internal and external) with differing and sometimes conflicting opinions and requirements. Experience operating within a similar environment in achieving successful delivery is essential.
