Responsibilities

ABOUT THIS ROLE:

The Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) has been designated as the National Retrofit Delivery Body, responsible for achieving Ireland’s target of upgrading 500,000 homes to a B2 energy rating by 2030, as outlined in the Programme for Government and the National Climate Action Plan 2021.
SEAI is seeking candidates who are highly motivated individuals who are passionate about sustainability and want to help us in reducing carbon and energy use in Ireland.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the ongoing management of BER Operations.
  • Develop, review and maintain website content.
  • Communicate and support regular updates to the Building Energy Rating Programme’s range of internal and external stakeholders, working with BER Assessors and other key stakeholders to drive the reach and impact of the programme.
  • Support the Public Affairs and Marketing Communications Departments with communications and campaigns for implementation of the recast EPBD for roll out of the new BER scheme and other EPBD recast campaigns.
  • Any other duties as assigned from time to time.
  • Develop and maintain programme process documentation.
  • Provide input to and action output from the Voice of Customer (VOC) process to improve overall programme experience.
  • Support the planning and implementation of marketing and promotion campaigns to drive programme awareness and uptake across target audiences.
  • Conduct ongoing organisational tasks including, handling programme enquiries, complaints and general programme administration and requests for data.
  • Provide project administration and project management support to the EPBD recast project team for delivery of technical department recast projects, working with Government Departments and other key stakeholders.
