POSITION OVERVIEW

The Programme Executive plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Centre’s programs and facilities while fostering a warm, inclusive, and empowering environment for residents, volunteers, and community partners.
You will take the lead in coordinating community programs, mobilizing volunteers, and facilitating meaningful engagement with stakeholders. With a heart for service and a hands-on approach, you will help drive resident-led initiatives and strengthen community ownership. This role calls for empathy, strong organizational skills, and a passion for building connections that support holistic community development.

Responsibilities
  1. Community Engagement & Program Coordination
    1.1. Co-design and co-implement community programs and events in partnership with residents, ensuring their voices, needs, and aspirations are reflected in planning and execution.
    1.2. Actively seek, incorporate, and respond to community feedback, adapting programs to meet emerging strengths and needs.
    1.3. Support and nurture grassroots and resident-led initiatives to encourage a sense of ownership and active participation.
    1.4. Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment that promotes belonging and shared ownership of the community space.
    1.5. Ensure proper documentation, implement evaluation, and continuous improvement of all programs and activities.
    1.6. Track key participation data, outcomes, and feedback to support internal learning and external reporting requirements.
    1.7. Support the daily operations of the community space, including logistics, scheduling, and coordination of facility maintenance.
  2. General Administrative Support
    2.1. Provide day-to-day administrative support to the team, including handling inquiries and referrals, food ration distribution, and front desk operations.
    2.2. Manage the Centre’s administrative email account, including responding to referrals, general enquiries, and sending out communications.
    2.3. Perform data entry, verify applications, and prepare reports related to financial assistance schemes and donations.
    2.4. Support procurement processes, including sourcing, purchasing, and tracking of goods and services.
  3. Volunteer Management
    3.1. Recruit, onboard, and provide ongoing support to volunteers to ensure meaningful and positive engagement.
    3.2. Cultivate volunteer leadership by offering opportunities for development and contribution.
    3.3. Manage volunteer schedules and ensure smooth coordination during programs and events.
  4. Partnership & Stakeholder Collaboration
    4.1. Act as a liaison between residents and external partners, ensuring partnerships are aligned with the community’s values and needs.
    4.2. Facilitate collaborations that emphasize mutual respect, transparency, and sustainable relationship-building.
    4.3. Solicit and represent the community’s interest in planning sessions and stakeholder discussions.
    4.4. To document stories of community involvement and work with KKCS partnerships liaison to update internal and external communication platforms where relevant.
  5. Other Duties
    5.1. Extend support to the Centre’s wider operations, including any existing or future affiliated initiatives.
    5.2. Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by the Centre Head or any assigned supervisor
