The Department of Learning and Leadership (DLL) is a large specialist research and teaching department of approximately 110 academic staff. Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We welcome applications from suitably qualified school leaders, particularly Induction Tutors and facilitators that are familiar with UCL’s Early Career Teacher Development Programme and who have an excellent understanding of the research base, The ITTECF.
Programme Leaders in the Centre for Educational Leadership are creative, motivated and solution-focused leaders of both programmes and people with successful, credible experience in the leadership of learning, equity and diversity.
You will work collaboratively with the ECF Programme Leader team, having strategic responsibility for specific areas across our Early Teacher Development programmes. This will include having oversight of programme management systems and processes, elements of programme design, programme delivery, quality assurance and/or supporting a group of regional Teaching School Hubs. You will also have the opportunity to work flexibly across CEL’s portfolio of leadership and consultancy programmes as needed, to support and promote a coherent offer to educational leaders.
This post, offered on a secondment basis, will include working with groups of regional partners and may involve some national and international travel.
This post is available until 31st July 2026 in the first instance.
