Our role is also to provide system leadership across the central government, pulling together back-office services. Collectively, we help support the Cabinet Office’s priority to drive efficiencies, and reforms that will make government work better, to ultimately provide a better service to the public.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Programme Management Office (PMO) Support Officer for the programme, you will work closely with and support the Senior Programme Management Office (PMO) support officer, along with both the Head & Deputy Head of PMO and a range of other stakeholder roles including a complex supply chain, commercial and financial colleagues in other Cabinet Office functions.
The role of the PMO Support Officer covers a diverse range of activities to support the delivery of the programme’s objectives. The role enables the smooth running of the programme by supporting the operation of project management processes, and the coordination of business management actions and activities on their behalf.
This role will give you a fantastic opportunity to work closely with a range of internal stakeholders at the heart of change, to learn how large and complex digital projects operate as well as develop a broad range of effective business skills and a variety of exemplar project management techniques
Ensure organisational tasks are carried out efficiently.
Support the Falcon Programme with administrative support and the updating of key artefacts (i.e., maintaining Risk Logs, Records of Actions & Decisions, Minutes, etc.)
Planning, scheduling, monitoring and tracking of programme deliverables including asset management, the scheduling of training and attendance at device swap-out sessions.
Assisting with training delivery by scheduling sessions, managing participant questions, and providing technical support during sessions.
