We sat down with our Head of Customer Remediation, and they let us know the following about the role. What are the day to day tasks the person in this role will complete? Plan, design and deliver project/programme delivery roadmaps and proactively monitor progress, pre-empting roadblocks and initiating appropriate escalation Embed strong governance practices, ensuring robust oversight of risks, issues and associated change Provide clear and concise programme status reporting to senior leaders, executives and relevant committees Ensure effective quality assurance and overall integrity of programmes, ensuring consistency and coherence with other remediation projects and risk and compliance standards. Support the management of programme budgets, monitoring the expenditure and costs delivered against realised benefits. What is your management style? Allowing people to deliver to their full potential through autonomy but with consistent support. It is a fast-paced environment and the entire team support each other as we work very collaboratively. What attributes will this person display in order to be successful in this role? 5+ years proven experience in management of complex work programmes and leading teams to deliver multiple medium-large scale programmes in parallel. Proven experience of managing diverse relationships, both internally and externally, with the ability to establish credibility at all levels. Strong understanding of relevant legislation in financial services Excellent communication, facilitation, negotiation and influencing skills. Excellent planning and time management skills.
