Job Description Role Purpose: The Programme Manager will lead the end-to-end delivery of Entain’s Payments Transformation Programme, ensuring successful execution of a complex, multi-phase initiative designed to optimise payment performance, reliability, and scalability. This role will manage scope, timelines, risks, and benefits realisation, while driving strong governance and stakeholder engagement across multiple regions and functions. Key Responsibilities Programme Delivery: Plan, manage, and deliver the Payments Transformation Programme from initiation through to completion. Ensure alignment with strategic objectives and business priorities. Manage dependencies, risks, and issues across multiple workstreams. Governance & Reporting: Establish and maintain programme governance structures. Provide accurate, timely reporting on progress, risks, and benefits to senior stakeholders. Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including technology, finance, and operations teams. Act as a trusted advisor and escalation point for programme-related decisions. Change Management: Drive adoption of new processes and systems across impacted teams. Ensure readiness and smooth transition to new payment capabilities. Collaboration: Work closely with the wider Transformation capability to apply best-practice methods and standards. Coordinate with vendors and third-party partners where required. Qualifications Skills & Experience Proven experience delivering large-scale, complex programmes in payments or financial services. Strong understanding of payment ecosystems, technologies, and regulatory considerations. Expertise in programme management methodologies (e.g., Agile, PMI, Prince2). Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills. Ability to operate in ambiguity and adapt approaches to evolving priorities. Personal Attributes Highly organised and detail-oriented. Outcome-focused with strong problem-solving skills. Collaborative and resilient in fast-paced environments.
