• Support the delivery of a major capital redevelopment programme.
• Maintain programme governance frameworks and assurance processes.
• Develop and monitor programme plans, schedules, risks, and dependencies.
• Produce high-quality reports, board papers, and programme documentation.
• Coordinate governance meetings and ensure actions are tracked to completion.
• Monitor programme performance and highlight key risks and issues.
• Drive continuous improvement and lessons-learned activities.
• Work collaboratively with senior stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams.

What We're Looking For

• Significant PMO, Programme Management, or Project Management Office experience within complex environments.
• Strong governance, reporting, and assurance experience.
• Proven experience supporting senior leaders, boards, and executive stakeholders.
• Advanced planning and scheduling skills, including extensive use of MS Project.
• Excellent organisational, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience managing risks, dependencies, and programme controls.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Desirable Experience

While sector-specific experience is not essential, candidates with experience in the following areas will be highly regarded:

• NHS or Healthcare Capital Projects
• Public Sector Programmes
• Major Infrastructure or Construction Projects
• Large-scale Transformation Programmes
• New Hospital Programme experience
• Green Book Five Case Model
• NEC Contracts
• Governance and Board Reporting

Qualifications

Ideally, candidates will hold one or more of the following:

• PRINCE2 Practitioner
• APM PMQ
• APM Chartered Project Professional (ChPP)
• MSP (Managing Successful Programmes)
• Programme Management Qualification
• Degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, Estates, Architecture, or a related discipline
