Job Description: Parsons is seeking a Quality Lead – Civil to oversee quality assurance and quality control for civil works on a major airport infrastructure project. The role involves implementing QA/QC procedures, monitoring workmanship, reviewing documentation, and ensuring compliance with specifications and standards. The ideal candidate will have 8 years of experience in civil quality management, with strong knowledge of airport or large infrastructure projects. What You’ll Be Doing: Develop and implement project-specific QA/QC plans, procedures, and checklists. Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with design, specifications, and industry standards. Conduct inspections, audits, and material testing to maintain high-quality standards. Review and approve quality documentation, including method statements, test reports, and as-built records. Maintain accurate quality records and prepare reports for management and clients. Support non-conformance management and corrective action processes. Coordinate with contractors, site engineers, and project management on quality matters. Provide technical guidance and training to site teams on quality standards. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance construction quality and efficiency. What Required Skills You’ll Bring: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Minimum 8 years in quality management for civil works on infrastructure projects. Experience with airport or airfield construction projects is highly desirable. Strong understanding of civil engineering standards, codes, and inspection procedures. Proficient in QA/QC software, MS Office, and documentation systems. Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills. Professional certification such as CQE, ISO auditor, or equivalent. Familiarity with airport operational standards and ORAT requirements. Experience with BIM and quality tracking platforms.
