Description Now Hiring: CNC Programmer (On-site, not remote) Join our CNC Programming Team and help shape precision components for aerospace and defense. This role focuses on developing, verifying, and optimizing CNC programs for 3-, 4-, and 5-axis milling machines using Mastercam. You’ll collaborate with machinists, engineers, and quality teams to turn 3D CAD models and blueprints into accurate, efficient machining instructions for tight-tolerance work. Duties/Responsibilities Develop and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam for multi-axis milling machines. Analyze blueprints, CAD models, and technical specifications. Verify toolpaths using CGTech Vericut or CAMplete to prevent tool collisions and crashes. Determine cutting parameters (speed, feed, torque, coolant, etc.). Create detailed setup instructions, tool lists, and revision-controlled documentation. Improve cycle times, tool life, and part quality through continuous programming enhancements. Collaborate with machinists and engineers to troubleshoot and refine machining processes. Maintain organized programming file structures and support quality standards. Follow all safety procedures, work instructions, and company policies. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Skills/Abilities Minimum Minimum 5 years of CNC programming experience in a production machine shop. Proficient in Mastercam, including hands-on 5-axis programming (Matsuura MAM experience a plus). Strong ability to interpret blueprints, GD&T, and 3D CAD models; capable of working to ±0.001” tolerances. Proficient with G-code, M-code, and CNC machine tool functions. Skilled in simulation tools such as Vericut or CAMplete. Advanced knowledge of tooling strategies, machining sequences, and material properties. Proficient with Microsoft Office and MRP systems. Excellent mechanical aptitude, shop math skills, and attention to detail. Strong documentation and organizational abilities. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Schedule Full-time Day shift(s) Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM -2:30 PM, or Monday -Thursday, 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM / Every other Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Compensation Pay Range: Approximately $34.50-$44.50 per hour Benefits Medical, dental, vision, life insurance Disability, vacation, holiday, sick pay 401k Physical Demands Work is performed in both a temperature-controlled office and an open warehouse environment with varying temperatures and exposure to noise, vibration, fumes, and chemicals.
