Description

The Innovation and Technology Department - is offering Internship employment opportunities as a Programmer Analyst 1 Intern (PeopleSoft) to work with the PeopleSoft Finance Information Systems team.

YOUR EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:

  • Successful completion of at least 1 year of a recognized university/college program in Information Systems and Technology, or equivalent.
  • Progressive experience in PeopleSoft Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Finance application functional support role, or similar ERP Finance application would be an asset.
  • Experience with and/or knowledge of the applicable specific Finance business functions and business systems analysis.
  • Experience in advanced technologies of MS Excel (i.e. Pivot tables, look-up functions).
  • Ability to conduct research, develop plans, analyze workflow/data, design roadmaps, system configuration, create and perform test plans, train users on implemented solutions and tools.
  • Ability to investigate, evaluate and resolve a wide variety of software related issues.
  • Ability to express ideas clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to teach/train/present technical information to individuals of varying technical ability.
  • Ability to effectively plan and organize work, meet frequent, multiple and conflicting deadlines, and to work with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to exercise initiative and sound judgement in fast paced environment as well as independently learn and adapt to a changing technological development and operating environment.
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with employees at all levels of the organization and external contacts.
  • A positive “can-do” attitude, and an eagerness to learn and implement new technologies, PeopleSoft based frameworks and design methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform would be an asset.
