Arnold & Itkin LLP is in search of a Programmer Analyst I to become part of our vibrant team at our corporate headquarters in Houston, TX. In this role, you will assist in the upkeep of current custom and third party systems, as well as conceive, create, and manage comprehensive solutions that enhance our operational workflows. Collaboration with diverse teams will be key as you craft automation tools, frameworks, and pipelines to bolster efficiency, reliability, and scalability throughout our organization.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Candidates must be based in Houston, Texas. Fully onsite role.
  • Proven experience (5 years) as a Programmer Analyst I, or similar role.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as .NET C#, JavaScript/TypeScript and Python with experience in relevant frameworks and libraries (e.g., Node.js, React, Angular).
  • Understanding of web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, RESTful APIs, and modern frontend frameworks.
  • Experience with automation tools and frameworks, such as Terraform and Docker.
  • Solid understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Exposure to accounting systems such as QuickBooks and/or NetSuite is a plus.
  • Comprehension of iPaaS and Data Analytic tools is a plus.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
    Knowledge with Case Management Systems is a plus.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain scalable, secure and high-performance applications, APIs, and microservices using modern technologies and frameworks.
  • Design, implement, and maintain automation frameworks, tools, and scripts to automate repetitive tasks, workflows, and processes.
  • Work closely with various departments to understand business requirements and translate them into system configurations, customizations, and scalable and efficient software and automation solutions.
  • Continuously monitor, measure, and optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of our automation initiatives.
  • Ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of our applications and infrastructure in production environments.
  • Conducting thorough testing of software and automation components to ensure reliability, security, and adherence to quality standards.
  • Perform continuous integration, deployment automation, infrastructure provisioning, and configuration management.
  • Assist in implementing third party tools, libraries, and platforms to enhance our automation capabilities.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in automation and software engineering.
  • Document automation workflows, tools, and best practices.
  • Providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance as needed.
