ABOUT US
We care about staff and student well-being, personal and professional development, delivering excellent service and University reputation. If this approach resonates with you and you are a good team player who also enjoys working independently and taking the initiative, we welcome an application from you.
As a Faculty we accept change and provide a supportive environment in which to grow, offering professional development opportunities with a strong belief in the value of investing in our people and teams. We are currently operating a hybrid work model which is a combination of both campus and home working (minimum 3 days a week on campus to include Wednesdays). During the peak workload periods the post holder will be required to work on campus every day (Monday – Friday).
If you have any questions about the role or the team please contact Emma Greeley, Programmes manager (absesjg@bath.ac.uk), or Josh Ryall, Programmes Officer (jar97@bath.ac.uk).
This post is offered on a full-time, (36.5 hours), open-ended basis.
You can find more information about our courses here: https://www.bath.ac.uk/faculties/faculty-of-engineering-design/
As a Programmes Administrative Assistant, you’ll utilise your conscientious approach and strong organisational skills to provide administrative support for all taught programmes in the Faculty. Your tasks will include: assessment processes; maintaining student records; responding to enquiries from students, and supporting academic colleagues.
With guidance from our Taught Programmes Manager and Programmes Officer(s), you’ll support Programmes Administrator colleagues, working within common systems and processes standardised on best practice, adhering to University regulations and procedures, and ensuring that services are efficient, effective and adapt to changing circumstances.
Your work ethic and enthusiasm are more important to us than experience. This role would suit anyone interested in exploring a career in the HE sector, and could represent a springboard to more senior roles in the future.
