Department of Statistics
Programmes Administrator (Undergraduate)

The Department of Statistics is home to internationally respected experts in statistics and data science. Maintaining and advancing our leading reputation for teaching and research is our top priority. As our department continues to grow, we are seeking to appoint a Programmes Administrator (Undergraduate) to join our professional services team.
The Programmes Administrator (Undergraduate) will work closely with the Undergraduate Programmes Manager, as well as the MSc Programmes Administrator and the wider Programmes team, to provide high-quality, comprehensive administrative support across all departmental programmes, with a particular focus on undergraduate study. Key responsibilities include liaising with programme applicants, students, academic staff, and administrative colleagues, coordinating essential programme activities and events, and ensuring accurate record-keeping and assessment processing in line with regulations. The postholder will also play a vital role in enhancing the student experience across the entire programme lifecycle—from application to graduation.
Candidates should have relevant administrative experience within Higher Education and be educated to degree level or have equivalent professional experience. They will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, and strong IT proficiency, including experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Familiarity with student record systems (e.g., SITS) is essential, and experience with Virtual Learning Environments (e.g., Moodle) would be an advantage.
We offer an occupational pension scheme, generous annual leave, hybrid working, and excellent training and development opportunities.
