PROGRAMMING & EVENT COORDINATOR – Wayfinder Waikiki, HI
As the Programming & Event Coordinator, you will be the ultimate curator of vibes at Wayfinder Waikiki - a soulful boutique hotel on the B Side of Waikiki, featuring 228 design-forward guest rooms, locally inspired cuisine and culturally authentic experiences.
In this part-time consultancy role, you will need to possess energy, creative prowess, and the ability to execute year-round experiences for guests and the community; by activating physical spaces, creating meaningful collaborations with local artists and adventurers, and documenting the activations at the hotel to share with the world online. You will act as a locally connected, creative coordinator and set the hotel operations team up for success to execute the programming and activations you organize.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Experience: Knowledge of hospitality, travel, social scenes, event planning, social media, branding, mountain tour and travel, ecology, history, art, music, brand development, or joint marketing all a plus.
Other: Bonus points if you speak additional languages
Skills & Abilities: Creativity and vision. Strength in hosting and producing events. Social media. Photography. Exceptional communication skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively/remain calm under pressure. Creative writing skills - ability to write and create through the Outbound voice. Genuine hospitality and warmth. Leadership to motivate fellow staff. Appreciation for the visual and other arts. Organizational skills to set priorities, plan, delegate, and still enjoy events. Ability to read, write, speak and understand English. Knowledge of or experience with creative platforms such as Canva or similar. Knowledge of or experience with social media scheduling platforms.
