Our mission is to create culturally resonant spaces that celebrate local artistry and foster meaningful connections within our neighborhoods.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a visionary Programming Manager to lead the curation and execution of live entertainment across all Archive Hospitality venues. This role is pivotal in shaping our cultural landscape, ensuring our offerings are both reflective of and responsive to the communities we serve. This is a full-time role, but falls outside a typical 9-5 schedule, as the Programming Manager is responsible for being onsite during programming events. Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, this role will work closely with our Social Media Manager and Brand Director to ensure programming feels on brand is properly promoted and captured.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in programming, event management, or a related field within the hospitality or entertainment industry.
  • Demonstrated success in curating and executing diverse entertainment programs.
  • Strong network within the local and regional arts and entertainment communities.
  • Excellent organizational, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Passion for community engagement and cultural development.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules.
  • Photography/Video, social media, and graphic design skills are considered an asset.
Responsibilities
  • Entertainment Curation:
  • Identify, coordinate, and book a diverse range of live acts and house-run entertainment suitable for each property’s unique ambiance.
  • Collaborate with artists, agents, and promoters to bring compelling performances to our venues.
  • Programming Coordination:
  • Oversee the logistical planning and execution of programming events, ensuring seamless integration with venue operations.
  • Work closely with internal teams to align entertainment offerings with overall guest experience goals.
  • Partnership Development:
  • Establish and nurture relationships with local artists, cultural organizations, and community groups.
  • Develop collaborative programs and initiatives that enhance our cultural footprint.
  • Community Engagement:
  • Ensure programming is inclusive, accessible, and reflective of the diverse communities we operate in.
  • Lead initiatives that support local talent and contribute positively to neighborhood cultural ecosystems.
  • Strategic Planning:
  • Develop and manage programming budgets, ensuring financial sustainability and value creation.
  • Analyze performance metrics to inform future programming decisions and strategies.
