Build in Tulsa is providing a suite of services, including training and workshops to get founders accelerator-ready, mentoring and networking events to introduce entrepreneurs to each other as well as strategic partners, and connecting entrepreneurs to potential sources of capital. Build in Tulsa is also addressing some of the barriers that many economically disadvantaged entrepreneurs face by providing free coworking space, cost-of-living assistance, funding for technology, and other microgrants. Position Summary: Build in Tulsa is looking for an experienced Programming Manager who can help manage the Arch Accelerator program. The Arch Accelerator is a 12-week in-person growth-stage accelerator based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, designed to support up to seven (7) post-revenue startups in priority industries such as HealthTech, Energy, Aerospace, and Advanced Manufacturing. The inaugural program is co-designed and co-delivered with a program partner and is built to close the “traction-to-scale” gap by equipping founders with the strategic, financial, go-to-market, and capital-readiness planning infrastructure required to reach Pre-Seed and Seed markers, for ultimate Series A readiness. The accelerator is a comprehensive program that will provide business education, corporate connections, access to capital allocators, and financial structuring to meet the demands of achieving an ultimate Series A raise 18-36 months after the program. The best candidate for this position has a pioneering spirit and is highly skilled at growing companies using KPIs, data, and metrics. They excel at running this program by mastering complex accelerator schedules, collaborating with program delivery partners, sourcing companies, brokering corporate relationships, and engaging capital allocators. This role also provides support for other Build in Tulsa programs. You will be part of a close-knit team, working in a fast-paced environment, executing a big vision. In this rapidly evolving program, the successful candidate will be comfortable piloting new approaches, iterating quickly, and adapting as the accelerator and startup landscape continue to evolve. Program Management Duties and Responsibilities (40%): Partner with the Director of Programming to co-design, deliver, and implement a well-structured and high-impact accelerator program for pre-seed to seed to Series A companies. ? Serve as the primary liaison between the Build in Tulsa program delivery partner. Execute clear, constant, and rapid rapport with the programming director and staff to deliver a quality program for founders. Manage the program administration, operations, recruitment, selection, onboarding, cohort management, offboarding, and impact reporting for each cohort. Create, develop, and deploy the application process, rubrics, interview guides, and train program delivery partners on the application process. Act as the primary point of contact for Arch Accelerator founders, providing coaching, problem-solving, and program adjustments so they can maximize the value of the accelerator. Follow a detailed and streamlined process to ensure effective program delivery and customer service. Oversee the development of curriculum with the program delivery partner, focused on closing the traction gap for pre-seed to seed to series A companies. Oversee the recruitment and selection of traction-focused and experienced facilitators and vendors with the program delivery team. Co-manage and supervise the Arch Accelerator EIR, keeping the Director of Programming informed of EIR performance. Liaise with operations on processing founder and vendor payments. Co-manage the Arch Accelerator Founder Retreat and/or Conference. Recruit and schedule potential speakers and workshop leaders in collaboration with the program delivery partner. Lead on Founder Wellness days and mental health support booking services. Coordinate program materials, including drafting briefs, recap reports, quarterly founder reports, handbooks, worksheets, and other collateral materials for Build in Tulsa programs. Manage and track expenses for Build in Tulsa Arch Accelerator and other programming as assigned. Cultivate and manage relationships with investors, grant-making institutions, corporate sponsors, and government agencies that fund post-revenue startups in coordination with the investor relations manager. Recruitment & Pipeline Development (30%): Develop and execute a targeted recruitment strategy to source 120+ qualified applications from growth-stage, post-revenue startups. Build relationships with venture networks, accelerators, and industry associations in HealthTech, Energy, Aerospace, and Advanced Manufacturing. Conduct outreach to pre-seed and seed stage companies nationally and in Oklahoma. Qualify leads against strict ICP criteria and rubrics. Co-manage the application pipeline and initial screening process with the program delivery partner. Collaborate with the program delivery partner on national/regional recruitment efforts. Leverage local and regional ecosystem partners for referrals. Track recruitment metrics and adjust strategy to meet application volume goals. Founder Support & Coaching (15%) Partner with the Director of Programming, EIR, program delivery partner, and Investor Relations Manager to develop company action plans. Act as a mentor and resource connector for founders, ensuring they receive the necessary guidance in business development. Conduct and monitor weekly tracking of KPIs, dashboards, and the retrieval of data with program delivery partners. Deliver support and quality customer service to maintain a positive rating of 4.5/or 95 NPS Score or more on satisfaction surveys. Support the program delivery partner in communicating clear expectations. Data Management (10%) Collaborate with the program delivery partner to conduct pre- and post-program evaluations and follow-up in coordination with the Director of Programming, monitoring data collection, and summarizing key insights from program evaluation for Build in Tulsa leadership and team. Manage data and CRM weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually to provide comprehensive and up-to-date entrepreneur information, including tracking of notes, documents, milestones, and other important information. Maintain detailed records and performance metrics on continuous cohort improvement. Track programming development via Asana and keep the Build in Tulsa team abreast of developments. Collaborate with program delivery partners and marketing to collect stories of impact from Build in Tulsa entrepreneurs and others in the Build in Tulsa network for use on the web, social, and e-newsletter. Event Liaison (5%) Liaise with Events and program delivery partners on welcome dinners, reveals, demo days, and other special events. Assist in facility set-up and breakdown for programs and events Project manage demo day on-site, ensuring needs are met for the event Other duties as assigned. Requirements POSITION REQUIREMENTS Qualifications: Education & Experience Bachelor’s Degree preferred 3-5 years of venture acceleration programming experience Ability to evaluate post-revenue traction signals (repeat customers, revenue growth, pipeline) Experience leading a business accelerator, incubator, or venture acceleration highly preferred Experience in sales, go-to-market strategies, or economic development is highly desirable Comfort operating in ambiguous, first-time program environments Excellent written and verbal communication skills Highly adept at personal and professional relationship management and can handle a crisis with a smile Must be able to work some evenings and weekends Experience with Microsoft, Google Docs, Asana, Slack, Eventbrite Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift and carry up to 25lbs., for lifting supplies and materials, as needed Position continually requires the ability to talk and hear both in person and over the phone, visual acuity; ability to operate equipment, read, and use a keyboard Position requires sitting, or standing, and working with a computer for extended periods of time Work Schedule and Location Requirements: This position operates in-person full-time (40 hrs/wk), Monday-Friday, with the ability to occasionally work hours outside of 8a-5p for events.
