The Aquatic Programs team delivers swim school, school swimming and broader aquatic services, working closely with schools, community groups and internal stakeholders to provide safe, engaging and high-quality experiences. About the Role: As the Programs and Services Supervisor – Aquatics, you will lead the delivery, performance and ongoing development of aquatic programs at VU Sport, with a strong focus on swim school and school-based programs. This role combines leadership, operational management and program development, providing the opportunity to build a high-performing team, drive service excellence and contribute to the growth and success of aquatic services across the University and broader community. Position Key Duties * Lead the delivery and continuous improvement of swim school and school-based aquatic programs. * Build, lead and support a high-performing aquatic team. * Recruit, roster, train and develop staff to ensure capability and engagement. * Ensure aquatic programs are delivered safely and in accordance with relevant policies and industry standards. * Foster a strong customer service culture across all aquatic programs. * Monitor program performance and implement improvements to enhance service quality. * Develop and maintain positive relationships with schools, community partners and internal stakeholders. * Support program growth, retention and promotional initiatives. * Contribute to broader facility operations including Duty Manager responsibilities. * Participate in continuous improvement initiatives that enhance customer and staff experiences. Ideally, you will bring: • Experience supervising or coordinating aquatic programs, including swim school and/or school-based programs. • Demonstrated ability to lead, develop and engage staff in a team environment. • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. • A commitment to delivering safe, inclusive and customer-focused services. • Well-developed communication and relationship-building skills. • Experience using rostering, CRM, POS or similar operational systems.
