Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Coordinate program activities to support Aboriginal outcomes
  • Engage with communities and stakeholders to build strong partnerships
  • Support the delivery of culturally responsive initiatives
  • Monitor data, reports, and program progress to inform decisions
  • Contribute to continuous improvement through feedback and insights
    This role sits within the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Team, which is key in delivering culturally grounded programs and policies that improve outcomes for Aboriginal children, families, and communities.
    As a Programs Officer, you’ll support the planning, coordinating, and evaluating key initiatives while helping build meaningful partnerships across the sector to ensure programs are respectful, inclusive, and effective.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE ROLE

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, or demonstrated equivalent knowledge and/or experience.
