JOB INFORMATION

The Government of the Northwest Territories (GNWT) is seeking a strategic, solutions-oriented Program Specialist to join our Employee Development and Workforce Planning team. This role is essential to supporting the GNWT’s commitment to building a strong, diverse, and representative public service.
The Program Specialist is responsible for planning, researching, designing, and implementing workforce development strategies and human resources programs. These initiatives are aimed at enhancing the GNWT’s ability to recruit, retain, and develop qualified employees across all departments and agencies.

Key Requirements and Qualifications:

  • A relevant Bachelor’s Degree combined with two years of experience in one of Talent Management/Human Resources/Program Development or similar role, including one year of experience managing projects, whether paid and/or volunteer
