Key Responsibilities: Review session data and clinician input to draft clear, compliant progress notes for ABA therapy Ensure notes meet insurance, Medicaid, and HIPAA documentation standards Collaborate with BCBAs, RBTs, and administrative staff to clarify session details as needed Maintain consistency in tone, formatting, and terminology across notes Submit completed notes within required timeframes (typically 24–48 hours post-session) Uphold confidentiality and data integrity across all documentation Requirements: Prior experience writing ABA progress notes or working in an ABA clinical setting Familiarity with ABA terminology, treatment goals, and data collection methods Strong written communication skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines Experience with EMR platforms such as CentralReach, Rethink, or similar (preferred) Understanding of HIPAA compliance and insurance documentation standards Preferred Qualifications: Background in psychology, education, or behavioral health Experience supporting Medicaid or insurance-funded ABA programs Knowledge of CPT codes and billing documentation (a plus)
