Key Responsibilities Manage the end‑to‑end financial processes for assigned projects, including planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. Monitor and track capital expenditure, ensuring alignment with organisational policies and approved budgets. Oversee vehicle leasing processes, including financial analysis, contract tracking, and timely reporting. Ensure strong financial governance, including compliance with Mercy Health’s financial policies and accounting standards. Prepare and deliver accurate, timely financial reports for Project Managers, executives, and other key stakeholders. Provide financial support and guidance to project teams to enable effective decision‑making. Partner with the Finance Manager on budgeting cycles, month‑end tasks, and continuous improvement initiatives. Document any procedures that are not yet available. Assist with ad hoc financial analysis and Group Finance activities as required. What you’ll bring You are an organised and analytical finance professional who enjoys working across diverse projects and partnering closely with operational teams. You bring strong attention to detail, a problem‑solving mindset, and the confidence to present financial insights to stakeholders at all levels. To thrive in this role, you will have: Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline CPA/CA qualification or working toward it (preferred) Demonstrated experience in project accounting, management accounting, or similar roles Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, capital expenditure, and financial governance Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills Proficiency with financial systems and advanced Excel skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and consistently meet deadlines You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining: A current Police Record Check Ready to help us shape the future of healthcare?
