Job Description

  • Oversee all project accounting and reporting activities, ensuring compliance with appropriate accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Consistently analyze financial data and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner; clearly communicate financial results and status to stakeholders on a regular basis.
  • Active involvement in budgeting and business planning process; administer and review all project financial plans against actual results with a view to identify, explain and correct variances as appropriate.
  • Manage cash flow and cash forecasting.
  • Provide relevant analysis on investments, commercial initiatives and business plans to support decision-making.
  • Actively reviewing and recommending measures for continuous improvement in internal controls and business processes.
  • Support project pursuit teams in bid preparation as required.
  • Prepare management/financial reporting, business analysis, and budgetary control.
  • Assist in deliver operational KPI and liaise with internal project managers and report to top management directly on a timely, accurate and efficient manner.
  • Provide support to junior members of the team to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems.
  • Manages the coordination of activities of a group or department with responsibility for results. In some instances, may be responsible for functional area and does not have direct reports or subordinate employees.
  • Enforce ethic & compliance policy including 3rd Party payment, Sub-consultancy engagement process (SCCS) and Gift and Entertainment policy (GEAS).
  • Primary point of contact with auditors, tax agents and other regulatory agents. Ensure timely completion of audits and acting on issues and recommendations.
  • Ad-hoc assignments as and when required.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Accountancy, Degree in Accountancy, ACCA or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 - 4 years of relevant experience. Prior exposure to accounting for construction contracts is preferred, preferably in a multinational.
  • Experience managing multiple tasks in complex environment.
  • Practical experience of US group audit or a US reporting environment.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Stakeholder management skills and presence.
  • Ability to efficiently navigate financial systems.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to draw conclusions.
  • Experience working with projects.
  • Oracle financial system experience.
