Description:
DESCRIPTION
Our established Downtown Vancouver real estate client is looking to hire a Project Accountant for a 4 month assignment.
Hourly rate: $34-37/HR experience dependent
Length: 4 months with the possibility of extension or made permanent
Reporting to the Controller, you will be responsible for:
- Maintaining project proformas and cash flow forecasts for a portfolio of projects
- Preparing construction and partner draw reports
- Preparing project financial reports for multiple stakeholders
- Assisting with accounts payable
- Assisting with the preparation of year-end financial statements and annual audit
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting
Successful Candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration or a related field
- 1-2 years accounting experience within a medium to large company
- Previous experience within the real estate construction/development sector will be highly regarded
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Previous experience with MS Excel
