Description The Project Accountant will work closely with Project Managers to prepare monthly draw packages to be presented to clients in a timely, accurate manner. Responsibilities: Plan, organize and prepare monthly draw packages for assigned clients / projects; including reconciliation of job cost, budget-to-draw updates, change orders and restricted cash accounts. Work with the Project Managers and project teams to ensure alignment on draws, budgets, change orders and all other project related issues. Understand the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. Maintain a high level of customer service to both our internal and external customers, including clients, employees, vendors and trade partners. Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential. Review, understand and post all revenue vs COGS entries. Review and understand all profitability and job costing reports. Job Cost reconciliation and accruals. Requirements Essential Qualifications • Minimum 2 years’ experience in construction, development or real estate improvement finance or accounting or related field. • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business preferred. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Sage 300 CRE. • Experience with Sage 300CRE Paperless, Procore, HomeFront, and BuildPro preferred. • Strong time management and organizational skills, basic knowledge of accounting principles, high degree of attention to detail, and ability to work independently desired.
