About the Role We’re hiring a Project Accountant to keep project financials accurate, timely, and clearly communicated. You’ll own budgets, billing, and reporting to help teams stay on scope, schedule, and cost. What You’ll Do Track project costs and budgets; monitor variances and communicate impacts of changes. Manage billing: review drafts for contract compliance, process finals, submit in client formats, and follow up on receivables. Produce project performance reports; set up new projects & change orders; support close-out. Support expense report compliance and coordinate with the Controller and Business Services Group. What You’ll Bring Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field; 3+ years accounting (project-based construction/engineering preferred). Strong GAAP and job-cost accounting knowledge; detail orientation and problem-solving. Proficiency with project accounting software (Deltek preferred) and Microsoft Office, clear written and verbal communication. Collaborative style—comfortable working across disciplines and with clients. EEI is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
