JSM Airport Services is seeking a highly motivated Project Accountant to join our growing team at Orlando International Airport. The Project Accountant is to perform as a business partner and financial guide to Project Site Managers, provide on-site accounting support to the project personnel, and report directly to the Manager of FP&A.   The Project Accountant will ensure that project direct costs are properly accounted for, that customer invoices are submitted timely and accurately, and that required financial reports are distributed to internal customers tasked with increasing efficiency and profitability.  The Project Accountant will work closely and collaboratively with employees at all levels of the company, including, but not limited to, customers, subcontractors, and equipment vendors.  Benefits and Perks You’ll Appreciate: * Ongoing career development and training opportunities * Collaborate with a team in a dynamic environment * Comprehensive health benefits * Wellness Program * Paid Time Off * Paid Holidays * Employee Assistance Program * Retirement Savings Plan with Company Match * Education and Tuition Assistance Program * Employee Discounts * Uniform/Footwear Program Compensation: Annual Compensation: Starting at $58,000 - $65,000.00 (Dependent on Experience) Work Hours:  The normal work schedule will be Monday - Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm; however, occasional changes in the work schedule may occur, based on operational needs at any of our locations Responsibilities:     Project Accounting  * Produce accurate and timely invoices – and supporting documentation – for project customers, weekly * Review subcontractor invoicing and submit for payment once verified. * Provide accurate and timely reporting of financial information when required or requested. * Analyze project cost data and ensure the accuracy & integrity of the month-end accounting close process. * Prepare ad hoc reports and complete special projects as requested. * Assist and engage customers and team members with technical questions. * Assist senior management with administrative requests. * Assist the accounting team where possible. * Coordinate approval of parts invoices with the Inventory Control Supervisor. * Complete safety and compliance training modules as required.  * Perform related duties as assigned.  Inventory Accounting * Coordinate with project operational leadership to track and account for changes to the spare parts inventory (from procurement through disbursement/allocation to the asset) * Maintain electronic filing system Qualifications:  * Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance - Required * Three (3) to Five (5) years’ experience in accounting, inventory accounting, or cost accounting - Required * One (1) to Two (2) years’ experience in a construction project, equipment maintenance, or manufacturing environment - Preferred * Proficiency in NetSuite (or similar mid-level ERP/Accounting package, i.e.: MS Dynamics) - Required * Strong knowledge of GAAP * Skilled in financial and numerical analysis * Proficient with PC's, especially proficient working in Microsoft Office, advance user of MS Excel * Strong interpersonal skills; a team player with a customer service orientation * Self-start motivation with the ability to work independently * Critically analytical – a hands-on practitioner who thinks out of the box * Excellent organizational and time management skills * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Strong report writing skills * Strong sense of urgency to meet deadlines Physical Requirements:  * Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. * Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
