Responsibilities
  • Responsibility for the delivery of high quality management information and financial reporting to functional leads & VP Finance at monthly Finance / Quarterly Business Reviews. Responsible for forecasts, risks & opportunities and business case submission information to be presented to VP Finance and CFO.
  • Full accountability for the financial input to the business plan for project delivery activity.
  • Provision of the strategic Plan, annual budget and growth options for investment projects prior to VP Finance and CFO review. This includes financial scenario planning & sensitivity analysis. Success depends on influencing, challenging & working closely with project teams to deliver a robust plan.
  • Influence and provide objective challenge to functional leads and project teams with the aim to control cost & deliver Investment benefits in line with agreed business cases.
  • Objectively review the business cases / Capital /Opex associated with investment requests for strategic opportunities.
  • Support the Finance transformation team with project delivery activity.
  • Provide robust challenge to senior leadership and project teams, also give recommendations and feedback as required.
  • Continual process improvements implemented to make more efficient and effective use of resources.
  • Lead the financial education of non-finance staff operating within each Functional area, to ensure an appropriate level of financial awareness and that leads sound financial decision-making.
  • Responsibility for effective business governance & compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards, Leonardo Directives and Leonardo Ltd Finance Policies Manual.
