The Opportunity: We have an immediate opening for a regular full-time Project Accountant to work a hybrid remote schedule based out of our downtown Tempe, Arizona office. Your Key Responsibilities: Set up and maintain projects in database. Maintains project billing schedules and budget information. Prepares complex project billings and supplementary information. Performs accounts receivable collections, as requested, and manages work in process billings. Works closely with project managers to review contracts, project costs, budgets, and schedules. Assists with month-end bookkeeping duties, as required. Assists with other clerical tasks, as requested. Demonstrates accurate judgment about the applicability of project cost accounting, federal cost accounting standards, and federal/state payroll and payroll tax regulations to numerous accounting situations. What You’ll Bring: 2+ years of related accounting experience plus a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or closely-related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficiency in Excel. Proactive, detail-oriented, and organized. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, and adjust to daily changes in priorities to meet deadlines. Good communication and interpersonal skills, and a desire to work both independently and in a team environment. Ability to work in the office 3 days per week on average. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in consulting industry or AEC industry. Experience with Deltek Vantagepoint. What We Offer: Compensation – This is a full-time position paid on a salaried basis between $45,000 to $70,000 annually, depending on experience and education. Responsibilities

The Project Accountant will set up and maintain projects in the database, manage billing schedules, and prepare complex project billings. They will work closely with project managers to review contracts, project costs, budgets, and schedules.
