What You'll Do At Monteith The Project Accountant works with project teams to fulfill the project accounting and cost-reporting requirements of commercial construction projects around the area. With project team, work to manage overall costs as they relate to the budget Assist in trade partner payables as well as manage accounts receivable Administer and control General Conditions costs and review purchase orders and check requests Assist project teams with monthly job cost analysis and forecasts Analyze revenue and profitability of each project Obtain and maintain new credit accounts for material suppliers Maintain accounts with utility providers for project teams Gather sales tax-related cost for each project and facilitate recording and reporting Experience You Should Have A degree in accounting, business, or finance or relevant industry experience Experience in Construction Accounting preferred Excellent time management and communication skills Experience with Dexter Chaney/ Spectrum Viewpoint preferred Required to Thrill at Monteith No Brilliant Jerks.
