Overview Are you a detail-oriented accountant with strong organization skills? As a Project Accountant, you will play a crucial role in preparing and analyzing financial data, ensuring the financial health of our projects. What you will be doing Prepare project journal entries and reconciles cost reports for one or more projects. Compile and analyze project pay forms to meet deadlines and ensure accuracy. Track insurance and bond information for all subcontractors. Assist in month end closing, budget rearrangements, and budge revisions as directed by project team. Set up cost codes and cost types for project needs. Support field personnel timecard entry, certified payroll and reporting as needed. Enter equipment time entry and reconcile equipment accruals for project needs. Support accounts payable and onsite invoice entry to track project expenses and payments. Works with project personnel to expedite payment and resolves issues. What we are looking for 2+ years of construction field accounting experience or training preferred. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Strong organization and attention to detail required. Strong time management and self-prioritization skills required. Verbal and written communication skills. Takes personal ownership over tasks and asks for help, when needed communicate effectively with others.
