Robert Half are seeking a Project Accountant with great interpersonal skills and a background in project accounting for this exciting opportunity.
This Project Accountant role would be a contract to hire position, located in the Surrey, British Columbia area.
Your Responsibilities
Job costing
Preparation of cost and revenue forecasts.
Responsible for A/R and A/P
Account for fixed assets
Reconcile bank accounts and petty cash accounts
Collect information as needed for the annual audit
Maintain project files, which include filing invoices and other documentation as required
Other ad hoc duties
2+ years’ experience in a project accounting role preferred
Construction experience considered highly desirable
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail
BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred
Expertise in Microsoft Excel
